Service Description
If you are familiar with pottery and you have already taken a few pottery classes at our studio or elsewhere, this is for you. Whether you need a pottery wheel to practice your throwing skills or simply willing to access our studio space to explore hand-building on your own time, you could book an open studio session with us. PLEASE NOTE: - The session fee includes the use of the wheel and tools. -You need to buy a bag of clay from us (28$ per 10 kg). You must take the remaining home. - Firing cost is not included in the session fee as it will depending on the weight of pieces you would like us to fire for you. Firing will cost 12$ per kg. - Please bring an apron and a towel each session and leave your workspace completely clean before you leave the studio. - As we have limited storage space at studio, you need to bring a container and bats to take your pieces home. - This session is only for those who know pottery and do not need any supervisions. - This session can be used for both wheel throwing and hand-building.

Cancellation Policy
1. Request for cancellation or transfer: Refunds or transfers will not be processed if you cancel within 48 hours of the workshop. All cancellation requests should be sent via email to info@mitraceramichouse.com 2. Cancellation: Our workshops require at least 3 students to run. In the unlikely event that we don't get this number of students, you will be notified by email or text message and entitled to a full refund, transfer, or credit. Please check your email before attending the workshop. If you change your mind and you want to cancel your booking, 5% transaction fee will apply, the rest of amount will be refunded to your account. We suggest of rescheduling your booking instead of cancelling. 3. Collection dates: Your un-glazed pieces will be ready for collection 3 weeks after your workshop. If your workshop includes glazing your glazed pieces will be ready approximately 8 weeks after your workshop. It is student's responsibility to follow up with the studio by email regarding the pickup dates. 4. Storage: Due to the limited storage availability at our studio, we are able only to keep your items up to 12 weeks after your workshop. Uncollected work will be donated or repurposed. 5. Pottery breakage: In the unfortunate case where your pottery breaks or cracks in the kiln, Mitra Ceramic House do not offer refunds, as this is the nature of firing process.
