Service Description

In our 6-week intermediate course you will develop your skills and confidence in working with clay. You will learn about slip decoration, sgraffito, relief sculpture, tissue transfers, surface texture and design. You will be fully supported in making objects of your choice through group demonstrations and one-to-one guidance, in a friendly environment. Suitable for: This course is for those who have completed our beginner’s course or who have a little bit of experience with clay and want to learn more. * Classes run weekly with 3 weeks break before the final glazing class. Workshop Package Includes 🎁: All necessary materials (clay, glazes, tools) Guidance from experienced instructors Firing and glazing of your completed pieces Personalised Guidance: Our small class sizes (up to 5 students) ensure that you receive personalized attention from our expert instructors. Get your questions answered, receive feedback, and make the most of your time in the studio.

Cancellation Policy

1. Request for cancellation or transfer: Refunds or transfers will not be processed if you cancel within 48 hours of the workshop. All cancellation requests should be sent via email to info@mitraceramichouse.com 2. Cancellation: Our workshops require at least 3 students to run. In the unlikely event that we don't get this number of students, you will be notified by email or text message and entitled to a full refund, transfer, or credit. Please check your email before attending the workshop. If you change your mind and you want to cancel your booking, 5% transaction fee will apply, the rest of amount will be refunded to your account. We suggest of rescheduling your booking instead of cancelling. 3. Collection dates: Your un-glazed pieces will be ready for collection 3 weeks after your workshop. If your workshop includes glazing your glazed pieces will be ready approximately 8 weeks after your workshop. It is student's responsibility to follow up with the studio by email regarding the pickup dates. 4. Storage: Due to the limited storage availability at our studio, we are able only to keep your items up to 12 weeks after your workshop. Uncollected work will be donated or repurposed. 5. Pottery breakage: In the unfortunate case where your pottery breaks or cracks in the kiln, Mitra Ceramic House do not offer refunds, as this is the nature of firing process.
