Service Description
The aim of this workshop is to encourage creativity in kids and clay is used as a medium. Children are very drawn to clay as it is easily manipulated and it is a natural medium. In this workshop kids will play with clay, learn some techniques of hand-building (pinch and coil) and create at their own pace. At the end of the session they pick their favorite piece and we will fire it for them. Important notes: * Perfect for kids aged 7-13 * Children should wear closed shoes * Children should either bring an apron or wear comfortable cloths that can get clay on them. * Children should bring a water bottle * All materials and tools are included in the price * The fired piece will be ready for collection roughly in 4 weeks. We will then email you to collect it. * This workshop does not include glazing (Coloring). A separate glazing session can be booked for coloring (15$ for one piece)

Cancellation Policy
1. Request for cancellation or transfer: Refunds or transfers will not be processed if you cancel within 48 hours of the workshop. All cancellation requests should be sent via email to info@mitraceramichouse.com 2. Cancellation: Our workshops require at least 3 students to run. In the unlikely event that we don't get this number of students, you will be notified by email or text message and entitled to a full refund, transfer, or credit. Please check your email before attending the workshop. If you change your mind and you want to cancel your booking, 5% transaction fee will apply, the rest of amount will be refunded to your account. We suggest of rescheduling your booking instead of cancelling. 3. Collection dates: Your un-glazed pieces will be ready for collection 3 weeks after your workshop. If your workshop includes glazing your glazed pieces will be ready approximately 8 weeks after your workshop. It is student's responsibility to follow up with the studio by email regarding the pickup dates. 4. Storage: Due to the limited storage availability at our studio, we are able only to keep your items up to 12 weeks after your workshop. Uncollected work will be donated or repurposed. 5. Pottery breakage: In the unfortunate case where your pottery breaks or cracks in the kiln, Mitra Ceramic House do not offer refunds, as this is the nature of firing process.
