Ceramic Plant Pot Workshop

Service Description

In this workshop you will be introduced to the wonderful world of clay where you will learn about: * Different types of clay * Wedging/Kneading clay * A basic technique of making a plant pot * Adding texture to your plant pot * How to apply natural slip-on fresh clay and decorating your plant pot To be considered: * This workshop is suitable for any skill levels. * All tools, clay and firing cost are included. * You could either make one big plant pot or two small size plant pots * Your plant pot will be bisque-fired and they will be ready for collection approximately 3-4 weeks after the workshop. * Workshop length varies from 1.5-2 hours depending on how much time you would like to spend on decorating your pots.

Cancellation Policy

1. Request for cancellation or transfer: Refunds or transfers will not be processed if you cancel within 48 hours of the workshop. All cancellation requests should be sent via email to info@mitraceramichouse.com 2. Cancellation: Our workshops require at least 3 students to run. In the unlikely event that we don't get this number of students, you will be notified by email or text message and entitled to a full refund, transfer, or credit. Please check your email before attending the workshop. If you change your mind and you want to cancel your booking, 5% transaction fee will apply, the rest of amount will be refunded to your account. We suggest of rescheduling your booking instead of cancelling. 3. Collection dates: Your un-glazed pieces will be ready for collection 3 weeks after your workshop. If your workshop includes glazing your glazed pieces will be ready approximately 8 weeks after your workshop. It is student's responsibility to follow up with the studio by email regarding the pickup dates. 4. Storage: Due to the limited storage availability at our studio, we are able only to keep your items up to 12 weeks after your workshop. Uncollected work will be donated or repurposed. 5. Pottery breakage: In the unfortunate case where your pottery breaks or cracks in the kiln, Mitra Ceramic House do not offer refunds, as this is the nature of firing process.
