Service Description

Experience the meditative joy of working with clay over six weeks of creativity and exploration. Hand-building is a rewarding and engaging pottery technique that allows you to connect with the clay, understand its unique qualities, and develop your artistic confidence. What You'll Learn: Explore the core hand-building techniques including: Pinch pots Coil building Slab construction Joining and attaching clay Learn how to transform clay into functional and decorative pieces such as cups, bowls, wall art, jewellery dishes, planters, and more. Whether you have a specific project in mind or simply want to experiment, you'll be encouraged to create pieces that reflect your own style and ideas. Workshop Package Includes: All materials provided (clay, glazes, and tools) Expert guidance from experienced pottery instructors Bisque and glaze firing of your completed pieces A supportive and creative studio environment Hands-On Learning No experience is necessary. Our instructors will guide you through each stage of the process, from basic techniques to more detailed and creative projects. Personalised Guidance With small class sizes of just 4–6 participants, you'll receive individual attention, feedback, and support throughout the course, helping you get the most from your time in the studio. Cancellation Policy

1. Request for cancellation or transfer: Refunds or transfers will not be processed if you cancel within 48 hours of the workshop. All cancellation requests should be sent via email to info@mitraceramichouse.com 2. Cancellation: Our workshops require at least 3 students to run. In the unlikely event that we don't get this number of students, you will be notified by email or text message and entitled to a full refund, transfer, or credit. Please check your email before attending the workshop. If you change your mind and you want to cancel your booking, 5% transaction fee will apply, the rest of amount will be refunded to your account. We suggest of rescheduling your booking instead of cancelling. 3. Collection dates: Your un-glazed pieces will be ready for collection 3 weeks after your workshop. If your workshop includes glazing your glazed pieces will be ready approximately 8 weeks after your workshop. It is student's responsibility to follow up with the studio by email regarding the pickup dates. 4. Storage: Due to the limited storage availability at our studio, we are able only to keep your items up to 12 weeks after your workshop. Uncollected work will be donated or repurposed. 5. Pottery breakage: In the unfortunate case where your pottery breaks or cracks in the kiln, Mitra Ceramic House do not offer refunds, as this is the nature of firing process.
