Service Description

Join our Intro Wheel Throwing Short Course at Mitra Ceramic House—perfect for beginners ready to explore the art of pottery. Over 5 engaging sessions, you’ll learn the essentials: • Kneading and preparing clay • Centering on the wheel • Opening and forming cylinders • Trimming and refining your pieces • Glazing your creations in a dedicated final session By the end of the course, you’ll create up to 6 unique pieces to keep. All materials, bisque firing, glazing, and glaze firing are included—just bring your curiosity and creativity. Please note: The 5th (glazing) session will be scheduled a few weeks after your 4th session to ensure all pieces have been fired and are ready for glazing. Come unwind, connect, and create in our warm and inspiring studio environment.

Cancellation Policy

1. Request for cancellation or transfer: Refunds or transfers will not be processed if you cancel within 48 hours of the workshop or a week prior to start of the multi-week course. All cancellation requests should be sent via email to info@mitraceramichouse.com 2. Cancellation: Our workshops require at least 3 students to run. In the unlikely event that we don't get this number of students, you will be notified by email or text message and entitled to a full refund, transfer, or credit. Please check your email before attending the workshop. If you change your mind and you want to cancel your booking, 5% transaction fee will apply, the rest of amount will be refunded to your account. We suggest of rescheduling your booking instead of cancelling. 3. Collection dates: Your un-glazed pieces will be ready for collection 3 weeks after your workshop. If your workshop includes glazing your glazed pieces will be ready approximately 8 weeks after your workshop. It is student's responsibility to follow up with the studio by email regarding the pickup dates. 4. Storage: Due to the limited storage availability at our studio, we are able only to keep your items up to 12 weeks after your workshop. Uncollected work will be donated or repurposed. 5. Pottery breakage: In the unfortunate case where your pottery breaks or cracks in the kiln, Mitra Ceramic House do not offer refunds, as this is the nature of firing process.
