Embark on a creative journey and immerse yourself in the world of pottery with our comprehensive "6-Week Wheel Throwing Course for Beginners." Whether you're an absolute novice or have dabbled in clay before, this course is designed to provide you with the fundamental skills and techniques needed to create beautiful pottery on the potter's wheel. Join us for an exciting exploration of clay, form, and artistic expression. In this course you will learn about: - Kneading clay - Centering, Opening and making cylinders - Trimming pieces - Making bowls, simple form vessels - Building confidence and understanding around throwing To be considered: - The cost includes all materials and bisque firing. You could book a glazing session if you would like to glaze your pieces after bisque firing. (Extra charge involved) - Please bring your own apron and a towel, wear comfy clothes that you don't mind have some clay on and leave all precious jewellery at home, so it doesn’t get damaged. - Please also ensure your fingernails are trimmed short and tidy as this will affect your ability to work with clay. - Please come to your first class with some ideas of what you would like to make or achieve within the sessions.

Cancellation Policy
1. Request for cancellation or transfer: Refunds or transfers will not be processed if you cancel within 48 hours of the workshop. All cancellation requests should be sent via email to info@mitraceramichouse.com 2. Cancellation: Our workshops require at least 3 students to run. In the unlikely event that we don't get this number of students, you will be notified by email or text message and entitled to a full refund, transfer, or credit. Please check your email before attending the workshop. If you change your mind and you want to cancel your booking, 5% transaction fee will apply, the rest of amount will be refunded to your account. We suggest of rescheduling your booking instead of cancelling. 3. Collection dates: Your un-glazed pieces will be ready for collection 3 weeks after your workshop. If your workshop includes glazing your glazed pieces will be ready approximately 8 weeks after your workshop. It is student's responsibility to follow up with the studio by email regarding the pickup dates. 4. Storage: Due to the limited storage availability at our studio, we are able only to keep your items up to 12 weeks after your workshop. Uncollected work will be donated or repurposed. 5. Pottery breakage: In the unfortunate case where your pottery breaks or cracks in the kiln, Mitra Ceramic House do not offer refunds, as this is the nature of firing process.
