Experience the meditative effect of immersing yourself in 6 weeks of clay play. Hand-building is an engaging experience allowing you to learn the qualities of clay, understand how it responds to your touch and develops your creativity. What you will learn: Explore all the techniques of hand building – pinch, coil, slabs and joins. Learn how to hand-build with clay to make anything you can imagine, from the functional to the decorative. Create cups, bowls, wall art or the perfect little dish to hold your bedside items. Workshop Package Includes 🎁: All necessary materials (clay, glazes, tools) Guidance from experienced instructors Firing and glazing of your completed pieces Hands-On Learning: No prior experience? No problem! Our skilled instructors will guide you through the fundamental techniques of pottery, from creating basic forms to intricate detailing. Personalized Guidance: Our small class size of (4-6 participants) ensure that you receive personalized attention from our expert instructors. Get your questions answered, receive feedback, and make the most of your time in the studio. Suitable for: This class is available to everyone (minimum 11 years old) and suitable for any skill level. Enrol now to secure your spot and experience the smug satisfaction of – “I made that”. What to bring: Please bring an apron and a towel for your personal use at the studio. IMPORTANT NOTE: There will be 5 sessions of making and 1 session of glazing. The glazing session won't run on the 6th week of the course as all items need to be fired before the glazing session. We will arrange a different date for glazing session to suit everyone.

Cancellation Policy
1. Request for cancellation or transfer: Refunds or transfers will not be processed if you cancel within 48 hours of the workshop. All cancellation requests should be sent via email to info@mitraceramichouse.com 2. Cancellation: Our workshops require at least 3 students to run. In the unlikely event that we don't get this number of students, you will be notified by email or text message and entitled to a full refund, transfer, or credit. Please check your email before attending the workshop. If you change your mind and you want to cancel your booking, 5% transaction fee will apply, the rest of amount will be refunded to your account. We suggest of rescheduling your booking instead of cancelling. 3. Collection dates: Your un-glazed pieces will be ready for collection 3 weeks after your workshop. If your workshop includes glazing your glazed pieces will be ready approximately 8 weeks after your workshop. It is student's responsibility to follow up with the studio by email regarding the pickup dates. 4. Storage: Due to the limited storage availability at our studio, we are able only to keep your items up to 12 weeks after your workshop. Uncollected work will be donated or repurposed. 5. Pottery breakage: In the unfortunate case where your pottery breaks or cracks in the kiln, Mitra Ceramic House do not offer refunds, as this is the nature of firing process.
